  • Changed Improved keyboard navigation order across the title bar, import actions, and problem filters.
  • Fixed Installer builds now stop when `version.txt`, the installer definition, and the published EXE version do not match.
v1.0.3
  • Fixed Fixed bugs for a more reliable release.
  • Fixed Cover art repair no longer uses artist profile images as replacement artwork. Low-quality covers are replaced only when Tunarrange finds a suitable track or album cover, so a small but correct cover is less likely to be replaced by the wrong image.
  • Fixed The cover action is now labeled as finding a better cover, making it clearer that it updates artwork only and does not replace song information.
  • Fixed Undo can now reappear after restarting Tunarrange when the latest repair backup is still available on this PC.
  • Fixed Successful online song info, lyrics, and cover lookups now cool down for the rest of the same day on the same track. This reduces repeated requests and helps avoid reapplying the same online result again and again.
  • Fixed Fixed a selected-track repair issue where the button could say a fix was available, then open a "Nothing To Fix" message instead of running the suggested online refresh.
  • Fixed Fixed a multi-track repair issue where selected tracks could show available "Review Info" fixes, then open a "Nothing To Fix" message instead of running the online refresh for those tracks.
  • Fixed Fixed repeated song-info review after a reliable online refresh. Saved titles such as "Track 10" are now trusted unless another field still needs review.
  • Added Added a search bar so you can find tracks more quickly.
  • Fixed Repair result details now show the track's cover image when one is available, so it is easier to recognize the song you are reviewing.
v1.0.2
  • Changed Improved reliability before release.
  • Fixed Fixed trial usage counting for Quick Repair.
  • Fixed Fixed missing Chinese text in suggested action status.
  • Fixed Fixed a refresh issue where a track could still show filename cleanup as waiting after its title, artist, and album tags were already present.
  • Fixed Tracks with generic artist or album values such as "Unknown Artist" or "Unknown Album" now show a review hint without blocking filename cleanup or folder organization. Titles such as "Track 9" are no longer treated as wrong by title text alone.
  • Fixed Stopped treating song titles, artist names, and album names as invalid just because they look generic. Tunarrange now trusts saved ID3 text values and only treats those fields as missing when they are actually empty.
  • Fixed Stopped showing song info repair when the track list already has a title, artist, and album from a safe visible value, even if one original tag field was missing.
  • Fixed Empty problem filters now show a simple "no tracks in this category" message after music has been imported, instead of showing the first-import drop target.
  • Fixed Cover art repair now tries one online song identity check when saved song information cannot find artwork. If a reliable identity is found, Tunarrange searches again for artwork without replacing existing song fields; if no suitable cover is found, the result says that directly instead of turning the cover step into a manual-review blocker.
  • Fixed Cover art lookup can now use MusicBrainz release-group artwork as a fallback when the exact release does not have cover art. This gives artwork repair one more safe album-level source before it reports that no suitable cover was found.
  • Fixed One-track repair results now use a focused result layout instead of splitting the same track across a left list and a right detail panel. The result also uses clearer filename and folder messages so you can see what changed without repeated wording.
  • Fixed Fixed Ctrl+click and Shift+click selection in the track list so selecting several songs works like a normal Windows list again.
  • Added Added a search box above the track list so you can quickly find tracks by title, artist, album, year, genre, filename, folder, and other saved tag details without switching away from the current scan view.
v1.0.0
  • Changed Improved save and apply feedback across editing dialogs. Manual tag editing now shows a short saved message near **Save**, settings now confirm when they were saved, and batch-edit dialogs now use clearer action labels so it is easier to tell what a click will do.
  • Changed Unified the selected-track panel when later fixes are blocked by missing song information. Waiting fixes now stay in the same suggested-fixes list with gray disabled buttons, and the reason is explained in the same panel instead of switching to a different-looking next-step card.
  • Fixed Reduced the startup wait caused by license checking. Tunarrange now opens from the saved local license state first, then quietly refreshes the license in the background and checks again before automatic repair writes when needed.
  • Added Added a release version workflow based on a root `version.txt` file, plus installer scripts for building the Tunarrange Windows setup package more consistently.
  • Added Added track-list header customization. You can now right-click the library header row to show or hide common columns, including file name, folder, status, and details, without changing the default layout for everyday use.
  • Fixed Folder organization now has an optional setting to remove empty source folders after tracks are moved.
  • Fixed Open the Cinch Solutions home page, the Tunarrange product page, and the support center directly from the top-right menu.
  • Added Added **Buy Now** and **User Manual** to the top-right menu, so new users can reach the purchase page and help page more quickly.
  • Fixed Reordered the top-right menu so buying and help links appear before activation, settings, logs, and About.
  • Fixed Open the local logs folder directly from the top-right menu, so it is easier to attach troubleshooting logs when reporting a problem.
  • Fixed Show the Cinch Tunarrange product name, app version, license status, and main website links in the About window.
  • Fixed Import individual music files, import folders, or scan the computer for music.
  • Fixed Scan a music library and show issues for song information, lyrics, cover art, low-quality cover art, filenames, folder structure, and volume information. Filename checks use the current naming rule when enough song information is available.
  • Fixed Show a scan summary for song fixes, file organization, and duplicate groups.
  • Fixed Show a cleaner scan summary that removes duplicate completion messaging and focuses on the three main result areas: song fixes, file organization, and duplicate review.
  • Fixed Refine the scan summary layout to feel closer to a calm Windows 11 desktop tool, with quieter status styling and a less distracting results panel.
  • Fixed Keep the Song fixes, File organization, and Duplicates cards visible as the three main scan result sections, with the Duplicates card showing a clear complete state when no duplicate groups are waiting.
  • Fixed Refine completed scan-result cards with a more professional desktop style: neutral card surfaces, small green completion marks, and clearer amber or blue accents for areas that still need attention.
  • Fixed Reorganize the top scan summary so the main outcome is shown first, the ready / review states appear as short chips, and the read-only scan note is shown more quietly instead of competing with the main result.
  • Fixed Expand the scan results area so the Song fixes and File organization cards list the most important problem types inside them, such as song info, lyrics, cover art, volume, file names, and folders, instead of only showing a fixed high-level label.
  • Fixed Make scan results clearer by saying that a scan only checks the library and does not change any files.
  • Fixed Filter the track list by problem type.
  • Fixed Repair song information, lyrics, cover art, and volume information.
  • Fixed Refresh song information and cover art from online matches.
  • Fixed Preview filename changes and folder moves before applying them.
  • Fixed Keep the track list right-click preview actions unavailable when the selected tracks already match the current filename or folder rules, so you are less likely to hit an empty preview message.
  • Fixed Set global naming rules and folder organization rules.
  • Fixed Use additional naming and folder rules for two-digit track numbers, disc numbers, Various Artists compilations, Disc subfolders, custom fallback text, simple title casing, and cleanup of common download-site text.
  • Fixed Choose an embedded cover art write mode: compatibility first, standard, or high quality.
  • Fixed Detect duplicate songs with local file hashes and metadata comparison, review duplicate groups, and move confirmed duplicate copies to the Recycle Bin.
  • Fixed Edit full song tags, including basic fields, extended fields, sorting fields, cover art, and lyrics.
  • Fixed Batch edit song information, batch import cover art, and fill track numbers using the current list order.
  • Fixed The Fill Track Numbers preview now shows the first selected song names next to the new numbers, so you can confirm the order more easily before writing changes.
  • Fixed Filling track numbers now shows clearer live progress, including done count, remaining count, estimated time, and the track names currently being updated.
  • Fixed Filling track numbers now uses two small workers in parallel, so larger selections finish sooner while still keeping the written number order based on the current list order.
  • Fixed Find and replace text in song information fields with a preview before writing changes.
  • Fixed Copy song information from one track and paste it into other selected tracks.
  • Fixed Detect CUE album images during scan, open a dedicated preview window for review, and split a supported album image into new track files without changing the original album audio or CUE files.
  • Fixed Export compatible audio copies from selected tracks using device presets such as car / USB player, Audio CD / CD-ready WAV + CUE, phone storage saver, Apple library copy, or plain formats such as MP3, AAC/M4A, Opus, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, ALAC/M4A, WAV, AIFF, and WMA. The Audio CD preset prepares ordered 44.1 kHz, 16-bit stereo WAV files, an `album.cue` file, and a `README.txt` note; it does not burn a disc or write CD-Text. The original files are not changed.
  • Fixed Open the export folder directly from the bottom-right export completion message.
  • Fixed Open a selected track's file location from the track list right-click menu.
  • Fixed Review the latest result, open detailed reports, export CSV reports, open logs, and undo the latest run.
  • Fixed Save clearer diagnostic events for app startup, import, scan, duplicate cleanup, and log-folder access, so post-release problem reports are easier to investigate.
  • Fixed See repair progress with processed file count, estimated time remaining, current file, and a cancel button that stops before the next file starts.
  • Fixed Use the app in English or Simplified Chinese.
  • Fixed See trial allowance, activate with a registration code, and view Pro status.
  • Fixed Review saved registration details after activation and deactivate the license from the license window.
  • Fixed Activation now sends the Tunarrange product identity to the license server, so valid Tunarrange registration codes are less likely to be rejected as belonging to another product.
  • Fixed See a clearer Pro upgrade window with the regular price, discount price, and purchase action when the free automatic repair allowance has been used.
  • Fixed Start from a clearer empty library area with a large drop target, while the top import buttons stay available for adding more music later.
  • Fixed Keep the top import buttons in a consistent folder-first order, with Add Folder shown as the main import action.
  • Fixed Keep saved Pro registration details after rebuilding or updating the app, and show **Pro** in the top bar after activation.
  • Fixed Keep a local library record with file paths, file size, modified time, content hashes, last scan results, skipped manual-review items, confirmed online matches, recent repair history, and MusicBrainz IDs when available.
  • Fixed Save recent online lookup results on this PC for song information, lyrics, and cover search results, so repeated repairs do not immediately ask the same online services again.
  • Fixed Clear saved online lookup results from Settings when online matches look stale or you want Tunarrange to check online sources again.
  • Fixed Empty-folder cleanup is conservative by default. Tunarrange only removes folders that became empty because of that move, and if you chose a library root folder, cleanup stays inside that root.
  • Fixed Folder-organization result details now explain whether the old folder was removed or kept because it still had other content.
  • Fixed Repairs are conservative by default. Valid existing information is not overwritten casually.
  • Fixed Fix All and other multi-step repair runs now keep going when one file cannot be changed, when it is safe to continue. The failed file is listed in the result view and is left in place.
  • Fixed Repeated scans can reuse previous results for unchanged files, so large libraries should scan faster after the first pass.
  • Fixed Tracks that already need manual review are remembered locally, so the same rejected automatic suggestion is less likely to appear repeatedly.
  • Fixed Confirmed online matches are saved locally and can be reused by future repair flows.
  • Fixed Song info repair now fills missing fields without overwriting existing song information. Use Refresh from online when you want to replace existing information with an online match.
  • Fixed If online song information or lyrics cannot be found after an automatic attempt, the track is marked for manual review instead of staying in the automatic repair queue.
  • Fixed Online repairs reuse recent lookup results across app restarts and space out requests to online services, so repeated fixes are steadier and less likely to hit temporary service limits.
  • Fixed Batch song info repair now starts with tracks that can be completed safely from local filename and folder clues before it waits on slower online lookups, so large runs should begin moving sooner without increasing online request pressure.
  • Fixed Larger repair runs now use small, controlled parallel work across safe local fixes, online song lookup, online cover lookup, and file organization steps. Different online services can make progress side by side, while Tunarrange still keeps per-service request spacing and low-concurrency file operations so the PC is less likely to bog down.
  • Fixed The bottom-right repair progress card now starts showing each file as soon as it begins processing and keeps describing the current repair stage more clearly, so large runs look more continuously active instead of pausing and then jumping ahead.
  • Fixed Lyrics found online are saved as plain readable lyrics. Sync time markers and LRC information are removed before writing to the file.
  • Fixed Filename cleanup and folder organization should show previews before writing or moving files.
  • Fixed Changing the naming rule updates filename scan results, just like changing the folder organization rule updates folder structure results.
  • Fixed Filename cleanup now uses the same rule check in scan results, previews, and the actual repair step, so tracks are less likely to keep showing the same filename problem after Tunarrange decides the file already matches the current rule.
  • Fixed After a repair finishes, the track list now refreshes from the latest file path and repair state, so a fixed filename or folder issue should not remain clickable as the same problem.
  • Fixed Filename cleanup and folder organization now use numbered names such as `(2)` or `(3)` when the exact target name is already used by another file. Scans, previews, and repairs all recognize the same numbered target, so a successfully renamed file should not keep showing the same filename problem.
  • Fixed Song information, lyrics, and cover lookup now ignore simple track-number prefixes and duplicate suffixes in filenames, so names like `01 - Artist - Title (2)` can still be used as helpful lookup clues instead of sending the track straight to manual editing.
  • Fixed Quick Repair and other multi-step **Fix All** flows now pass the current naming rule into filename cleanup, so batch cleanup should no longer skip a filename change that the scan already marked as needing repair.
  • Fixed Quick Repair and other multi-step **Fix All** flows now also validate and reuse the current folder organization rule, so folder moves stay consistent between scan, preview, and repair.
  • Fixed The selected track panel now labels the big repair button as the number of fixes available right now, and explains when other fixes are waiting for song information to be completed first.
  • Fixed Batch repair selection now stays available when the selected tracks can all start with song info repair, even if later fixes such as cover art, filename cleanup, or folder organization still depend on that first step.
  • Fixed When a selected batch only has one obvious first step to start from, Tunarrange now starts the full batch repair flow directly instead of opening an extra selection window first. Later steps can continue in the same run after song information becomes complete enough to unlock them.
  • Fixed When automatic song info lookup fails, the selected track panel now explains that later fixes could not continue because complete song information was not available, instead of leaving those later fixes shown as generic waiting steps.
  • Fixed When a track only shows filename or folder problems after song info lookup already failed, the selected track panel now hides the disabled repair button and shows the real blocker instead. The message explains that the file was not changed because Tunarrange still needs a usable title, artist, and album before it can safely rename, move, or continue online lookup.
  • Fixed Suggested fixes in the selected track panel now explain the result more directly for the current track. For example, filename cleanup shows the target filename, folder organization shows the target folder, and other fixes describe what will be added or improved when you click **Apply**.
  • Fixed Filename cleanup and folder organization in the selected track panel now also show the current saved rule on a quieter second line, so it is easier to connect the one-track result with the rule Tunarrange is following.
  • Fixed When a track has both ready fixes and waiting fixes, the selected track panel no longer adds a separate waiting summary line above the list. The waiting reason now stays only on the affected item, so the panel is easier to scan.
  • Fixed The main fix button in the selected track panel now counts only the fixes that can run right now, instead of counting waiting items in the same total.
  • Fixed Undo is offered only when the latest run created a restore backup, and the library refreshes after undo so the track list shows the restored files.
  • Fixed Undo now restores the original file before cleaning up a moved or renamed copy. If that cleanup cannot finish because the changed copy is being used by another app, Tunarrange keeps the restored original in place and tells you where the remaining copy is.
  • Fixed Undo restore failures now use a plain message that says the current file was left in place, then shows the file location, likely reason, and system detail separately.
  • Fixed Cover art scans now ignore empty or unreadable embedded image entries, so tracks with no usable cover are shown as needing cover art instead of Good.
  • Fixed The selected track panel now uses the same scan problem state as the track list, so a track with filename, folder, cover, lyrics, or volume problems is no longer shown as "Nothing to fix" in the detail panel.
  • Fixed Volume normalization writes volume information by default and does not rewrite the audio content.
  • Fixed Filename cleanup and folder organization now shorten the filename automatically when that helps keep a Windows path from becoming too long. If the folder path is still too long after shortening the name, Tunarrange tells you that directly.
  • Fixed Online repair progress now explains more clearly that larger batches may wait briefly between files while Tunarrange reuses recent saved results and spaces out online lookups.
  • Fixed Lyrics repair result summaries now say when no matching lyrics were found online, so skipped files are easier to understand without guessing why nothing changed.
  • Fixed If a batch repair already checked online lyrics and found no match, the track now switches to a manual-review state in the track list and selected-track panel instead of still showing the same lyrics fix button. This makes it clear that Tunarrange already tried the online lookup and left the file unchanged.
  • Fixed More warning and result messages now say the direct reason more clearly, including skipped cover art, skipped volume analysis, tag-save failures, and a few repair or license fallback messages.
  • Fixed Confirmation, preview, result, and review windows now put the main action or result first, while backup, risk, and duplicate-file notes are shown as smaller supporting information.
  • Fixed Duplicate songs are not deleted by the normal repair flow. They require separate review.
  • Fixed Duplicate cleanup now reports a selected file as failed if it was already missing before cleanup started, instead of showing it as moved to the Recycle Bin.
  • Fixed CUE album images are not split automatically. Tunarrange now opens a separate preview-first workflow so users can review track times, filenames, warnings, and output location before new files are created.
  • Fixed The CUE split preview now updates the planned output immediately when you change the output folder, blocks invalid output paths before anything starts, and shows the numbered filename that will be used when a same-name file already exists.
  • Fixed Duplicate review is now less likely to miss songs with the same title and artist when album tags differ or some local metadata is missing. These tracks can now be grouped for manual review more often instead of being skipped.
  • Fixed Duplicate review now shows each file's embedded cover image in the review list, so it is easier to compare album versions before moving anything.
  • Fixed Duplicate review now uses a lighter group header instead of repeating a large warning card for every duplicate group, so the list is easier to scan.
  • Fixed Duplicate review group headers now use short match tags such as same title, same artist, and duration close, so you can scan the reason faster without reading a full sentence each time.
  • Fixed The free trial allowance applies to automatic writes. Manual editing does not use the allowance.
  • Fixed Cancelling a repair keeps files that already finished and leaves files that have not started unchanged.
  • Fixed Compatible Export result details now use the selected app language and explain when a source file was missing or a copy could not be created.
  • Fixed If online matching is not reliable, some tracks are skipped and need manual review.
  • Fixed Some older players may not display high-resolution embedded cover art reliably. Use compatibility-first mode for the safest results.
  • Fixed Repair, rename, or move actions may fail if a music file is in use by another app or the target folder cannot be written to.
  • Fixed Multi-file CUE layouts are still marked as unsupported. Tunarrange currently supports CUE sheets that point to one album-length audio file.
